So here goes… if you glanced at this blog welcome and do return! This is the hub of management matters, especially for the care sector. It will feature staff training ideas and management tips, website reviews, articles and much more – not least great ‘downloadables’ for your in-house newsletter.
And the ‘hub’ will cut through the crap and get to the issues that matter. Lets face it, maintaining high standards is vitally important to any care sector service, but it requires a lot of effort and money. No wonder many people get disheartened. I’ve seen good people give up and give in because of the pressures of today’s care environment.
Well the hub is here to give you the info and back-up that helps – and you are not just invited to post comments, you are positively encouraged to! Your ideas and solutions might just be the ingredients that are missing in the care labyrinth. And the people who are the cutting edge of care are those most likely to pinpoint the issues that matter most. A simple philosophy – those are the ones that usually work.
Thanks for visiting – post a comment and keep in touch.
Warm regards – Philip.
I also work in the care sector. There certainly are many gaps in providing relevant and appropriate treatment and outcomes for patients. I look forward to reading more of your ideas and maybe contributing to some solutions.
Hi S.K.
Good to hear from you. Solutions are what we need,
BTW what kind of work do you do?
Oh and I’m trying to get the comment moderation turned off for quicker posting of comments….
regards Philip
I work as a speech pathologist in an acute hospital setting.
I enjoy my work but I’m having lots of issues at the moment, mostly in dealing with the people I work with. I’m using my blog for a bit of ‘venting’ and therapy I guess!
Hi S.K.
Your name makes sense now. I have been trying to get to your blog to have a look but without a result. What’s the address?
I work a lot with managers in the care sector. How about we find a way to collaborate? http://www.progressivemanagersnetwork.co.uk
